FLOW TO NATURE

Today's blog is all "ORGANIC".Lets hop right in to check about ORGANIC FARMING.
Organic Farming back to TRADITION. Agriculture is part and parcel of ones life . Food is a basic necessity for all living beings.
The scientific progress has made us forget many merits of our traditional practices in agriculture. Now the time has come to realise and many organisations have started ORGANIC FARMING .
To start with simply start at home . Manure from the kitchen and garden can be  used. Even if our home is small we can place a mud pot collect the daily vegetable waste spread a hand full of sand . Cover with a lid . After it gets filled up place another mud pot on top of it and when this gets filled up the bottom pot mixture degrades and becomes manure. This can be used for gardening purposes or packed and given to an organic store.Recent method is the use of  "KHAMBA POTSwhich does the same process as above.

 VERMICOMPOST

Vermicompost is the product of the composting process using various species of worms .The worms waste is Vermicast ,also called worm castings . These castings have been shown to contain reduced levels of contaminants and a higher saturation of nutrients than to organic materials before  vermicomposting .Vermicomposting is generally known as a nutrient rich source of organic compost.

AT HOME DIY ORGANIC MANURE

REQUIREMENTS

1.Mud pots or any vessel
2.Kitchen Waste or household wastes (Leaves ,fruit and vegetable waste etc)
3.Cow dung dried (if available )

PROCEDURE

1.In the mud pots put all the waste collected for the day .
2.Keep putting up the day to day wastes , everyday just mix it form the bottom .
3.After 40 days your own manure is ready to use .

I hope that this blog will help all ORGANIC lovers to do more and encourage others to start their own ORGANIC venture .
