                               DO YOU KNOW WHAT  IS CO1


                                          The CO 1 is the cows feed . It is been recommended by the AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT OF TAMIL NADU for enriching the nutrient value of cows milk. The Co 1 is grass varieties of NAPIER CROPS . The CO 1 have spikelets on leaves which means they are highly oxalate content.

CO 1 GRASS
(i)   This is a perennial grass fodder .
(ii)  Crude protein ranges from 8 to 11%.
(iii) First harvest is done on 75 to 80 days 
after planting and subsequent harvest 
at intervals of 45 days.
(iv) CO1 , CO2 and CO3 are also superior
varieties released from TAMIL NADU
AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY.
(V) Their varieties are suitable for growing
throughout the year in all districts of 
TAMILNADU.

    Thank you Manisha for sharing info about CO1 grass... I have never heard of this kind of grass at all... I feel very glad to know about it... I am very sure farmers are very much benefited with this crop.
